Third Generation Family Owned Since 1949
Founded in Wood River, IL
B and W Heating and Cooling was opened in Wood River, Illinois. From day one, the company was built on a foundation of honest service, quality workmanship and a genuine commitment to the local community.
Growing with the Metro East
As the Metro East area grew, so did B and W. We expanded our service area to cover more communities throughout Madison County and the surrounding region, building a reputation for reliability that spread by word of mouth.
Second Generation Takes Over
The business passed to the second generation of the family, bringing fresh energy while maintaining the same values and commitment to quality that customers had come to rely on for decades.
Expanding Services
B and W expanded its service offerings to include commercial HVAC, duct cleaning, indoor air quality systems and gas line services — becoming a true one-stop shop for all heating and cooling needs.
NATE Certification and Continuing Education
Owner Mark Eberhart achieved NATE certification and established a commitment to ongoing technician education, ensuring the team always uses the latest tools, techniques and technology.
Third Generation Joins the Business
Joel Eberhart, a mechanical engineering student at SIUE, joined the team — representing the third generation of family ownership and continuing the legacy of excellence.
